Our Next Gen Leader Labs

The Next Gen Leader Labs do not prescribe what leadership is or should be. Leadership isn’t something you teach, but rather something that emerges when individuals are given the chance to explore their own capacity for bringing people and ideas to action.

Our Next Gen Leader Labs are designed to bring emerging leaders together in an open, reflective environment – away from their everyday routines and responsibilities – to deliver:

  • An intensive multi-day workshop (in-person or virtual) for 20 to 30 participants to experience the power of collaboration and how to use a creative toolkit to lead groups and teams more collaboratively.

  • A leadership framework to identify the different dimensions of a collective leadership style, and how to use them as a guide to lead collaborative teams.

  • Exposure to a co-creative process based on the latest research in creative theory and behavioral science (including Creative Problem Solving, Design Thinking and Appreciative Inquiry) that they can use to lead teams to work together to solve complex problems.
  • Immersive and engaging activities to experience the power of collaboration and how to use a creative toolkit to lead groups and teams more collaboratively.

  • Capacity building and knowledge exchange because we are deliberate about shedding light on the collaboration tools we use, why they work and how to keep using them with the teams they lead to create concrete collaborative outcomes.

  • A cohort of engaged leaders with shared values and experiences to continue to support each other as they apply new leadership methods and tools.

Leadership manifests in many different ways: it might be pointing the way with a vision, stepping up as the first follower, or serving the needs of others to maximize their performance.

Our workshops are designed to help participants explore different leadership contexts, and along the way, discover their own personal and authentic leadership style.
